SUPPORT GROUP FOR SPANISH SPEAKING PARENTS WITH AUTISTIC CHILDREN
We have a new support group and will meet on February 18th from 6pm - 7:30pm at our Rockville office. We welcome
Spanish speaking fathers and mothers of autistic children to meet in a safe environment where they can share stories and discuss
important issues like potty training, schooling, and the impact of parenting an autistic child on family relationships.
Working in a group setting may not be appropriate for all parents but we open our doors to Spanish speaking parents the
need a place to connect with parents with similar experiences. There is no fee to attend.
FAMILY MENTORING
Once a week, couples, parents and children, and at-risk youth meet with a counselor to help resolve conflict and
overcome communication barriers that prevent families from functioning as a cohesive unit.
SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELING FOR YOUNG WOMEN AND YOUNG MOTHERS
Weekly we will hold substance abuse group counseling services for young women and young mothers with addictions.
We will provide daycare services so that the women will be able to attend while their children are nearby in a safe environment.
